Containing a surprisingly large number of words in such a small package, this little dictionary also has useful phrases and verb tables in the back, and even one or two explanations of cultural differences. There are perhaps too many entries which hardly need translating - did I really need to be told that Skateboard is the same in both languages, for example? But this is a bit picky. And I could not find the German for Guinea-pig (Meerschweinchen, since you ask). The book is small enough to slip into any pocket but comprehensive enough for GCSE students - nuff said!
