    Very helpful.

This book is an excellent introduction to prayer from the unique perspective of personality. Anyone who has participated in a Myers-Briggs personality type course will recognise the personality types that Ruth talks about. However if you are not familiar with Myers-Briggs it is still very accessible. The book covers how to make the most of your personality traits when exploring spirituality, expecially in developing a prayer life. The book recognises that there is no one size fits all when it comes to prayer and gives some helpful ideas on how to develop a meaningful relationship with God through prayer.

I was recommnended this book by a friend when I was doing a study on prayer and personality. It is very easy to read but contains important secrets as to how our prefered methods of prayer are linked to our personality. Essential reading for allthose who struggle with prayer and always thought there was only one way of praying.Personality and Prayer

This is an eye-opening account of how people of different personality types do their praying. The author bases her observations on the Myers-Briggs Personality type indicator, and it would be a help to anyone wishing to read this book to get some idea of this. There are suggestions for different lifestyles at the end of each chapter, and there is plenty of food for thought within the chapters. Encouraging for those who struggle with prayer, and are tempted to think they are inferior because they don't pray in the way othere do!

This book is for everyone and anyone who has ever carried guilt about their prayer life. Read it and be freed up to "pray as you can, not as you can't".I have just bought my second copy, as I needed it to encourage someone... and I had lent first copy to a friend.

I bought this to help with an assignment on pastoral quiet days and prayer. I'm using it to dip in to but like its style and find it easy to use and very focussed. A useful little book.

Excellent and thought provoking. I wish I had read this book years ago! It would be a very good book to use as a starting point for a discussion group.
